At first glance, I thought David Firsching was joking in his solicitations for Herman Cain (letter, Dec. 14). Then it became apparent he was dead serious!
Yes, we all have skeletons in our closet, and, yes, I agree, one’s personal life is just that, personal. That’s not the point here. This is a person who refused to “man up” when confronted.
Instead of simply replying, “I have made mistakes in my life,” and moving on, he chose to lie about the transgressions. If he lies about that, what else will he lie about? Is that who Firsching wants leading this country? A liar? We already have that.
