WINTHROP FIRE: Firefighters ventilate the roof of a Winthrop home that
burned this morning.
The blaze was reported around 10 a.m. and heavily damaged the home that belongs to Becky Pottle, 40, according to Dan Pottle, her brother.

Firefighters from several communities responded the fire on Route 41 near the Readfield town line.
Dan Pottle said nobody was home at the time of the fire.
