RICHMOND — Ben Carver scored 12 points and Nate Tribbet added nine as Richmond beat Rangeley 50-32 to pick up its first win of the season in East-West Conference action Tuesday night.

Brian Snedeker had eight points and eight rebounds for Richmond (1-3).

Eric White scored 13 points and Alex Morton added 10 to lead the Lakers (0-3).

Gardiner 55, Morse 40: Aaron Toman had 28 points and 12 rebounds to lead the Tigers to the KVAC B win in Bath.

Jake Palmer added eight points, seven assists and seven steals for Gardiner (3-1) while Alonzo Connor grabbed 12 rebounds.

Morse (1-2) was led by Ted Cole with 16 points.

Maranacook 85, Oak Hill 45: Gabe Giguere scored 11 points in the first quarter as the Black Bears jumped out to a 22-point lead and won the KVAC B game in Readfield.

Taylor Wilbur added three 3-pointers in the first quarter and Kyle Boucher chipped in with six points for Maranacook (2-2). Giguere finished with 17 points, Wilbur 14 and Boucher 14.

Sam Morin had 12 points for Oak Hill (0-4).

Boothbay 62, Hall-Dale 51: Freshman John Hepburn had 14 points and 14 rebounds to lead the host Seahawks to the Mountain Valley Conference win.

Ben Dickinson led Boothbay (3-1) with 21 points.

Hall-Dale (3-1) was led by Mike Woods with a game-high 26 points. Zach Plummer added 11 points.

Brewer 58, Messalonskee 40: Yuhi Sasaki scored 15 points to lead the host Witches to the KVAC A win. Brandon Newcomb and Matt Cuskelly each scored 11 points for Brewer (1-3).

Elijah Steele led Messalonskee (0-4) with 12 points.

Lewiston 62, Cony 51: Shawn Ricker scored 16 points and Joe McKinnon added 14 to lead the Blue Devils to the KVAC Class A win in Augusta.

Walker Cooper led Cony with 18 points while teammate Ben Lucas contributed 16 points and 11 rebounds.

Lewiston is 4-0, Cony is 1-3.

Waterville 49, Mt. View 41: Josh Gormley had 11 points and 10 rebounds to lead the host Purple Panthers to the KVAC B win. Max Brown added 14 points and six steals for Waterville (2-2) while Chris Hale scored 11 points. JP Michaud grabbed 10 rebounds.
