OAKLAND — Megan Pelletier scored 16 points and Mary Badeen added 14 to lead the Messalonskee High School girls basketball team past Brewer 58-51 in a Kennebec Valley Athletic Conference Class A game Tuesday night.

Mikayla Turner added 13 points and seven rebounds for Messalonskee (4-0), which outscored Brewer (1-3) 20-12 in the third quarter.

Alex Grindle scored 13 points and Maddy Bailey added 10 to lead the Witches.

Mt. Ararat 59, Skowhegan 42: Chelsea Crawford had 15 points as the Eagles handed the Indians their first loss, in a KVAC A game in Topsham.

Kristy Willey added 12 points and Leah Hitchcock 10 for Mt. Ararat (3-1).

Amanda Johnson had 13 points, including three 3-pointers, for Skowhegan (3-1). 

Waterville 35, Mt. View 30: Lauren Crane scored 10 points and Jenna Gagnon added eight to lead the Purple Panthers in Thorndike. Whitney Scott added five points for Waterville (2-2).

Courtney Morse scored a team-high 10 points for the Mustangs (0-3).

Forest Hills 42, Valley 32: Jocelyn Hoyt scored a game-high 15 points to lead the Tigers to the East-West Conference win in Bingham.

Anna Carrier added 10 points for Forest Hills (4-1).

Valley (0-4) was led by Jaclyn Beatrice with eight points and Jen Hovey with seven.

Edward Little 77, Erskine 36: Kory Norcross led all scorers with 20 points as the Eddies earned the KVAC A win in South China.

Crissy Lewis chipped in with 12 points for Edward Little (2-2).

Bridget Humphrey scored 14 points to lead Erskine (1-3).

Winslow 42, MCI 29: Elizabeth Ferry scored 19 points to lead the Black Raiders to the KVAC B win in Pittsfield.

Mariah Chenard added nine points for Winslow (2-2) while Ashley Kitchin paced Maine Central Institute (1-3) with 10 points.

Mountain Valley 59, Carrabec 30: Alya Allen had 23 points, including three 3-pointers, as the Falcons beat the Cobras in an MVC game in Rumford on Monday.

Chris Briggs added 13 points for Mountain Valley (4-0).

Sklya Murray had six points for Carrabec (1-3).
