WATERVILLE — Water service was interrupted for about 15 customers on Friday morning because of a water main break on Bowtelle Street, according to Jefferson Longfellow, district engineer for Kennebec Water District.

The break occurred sometime in the early morning, he said. Crews began working on the problem at about 7:30 a.m. Service was restored by noon.

Longfellow said cold weather might have been the cause.

7:09 p.m., an assault was investigated at MaineGeneral Medical Center, Thayer Unit, 140 North St.

9:50 p.m., threatening was investigated on Maple Street.

On Friday, 12:04 a.m., a suspicious vehicle was investigated on College Avenue.

12:20 a.m., criminal mischief was investigated on Gold Street.

4:10 a.m., a domestic dispute was reported on Main Street.

IN WINSLOW, Thursday, 8:47 p.m., a domestic dispute was investigated on Sunfish Road.

Arrests

IN WATERVILLE, Thursday at 11 a.m., Leona Williams, 51, of 22 Western Ave., was arrested on a warrant, on Western Avenue.

1:50 p.m., Joseph Munster, 30, of 67 Oak St., was arrested on warrants, on Oak Street.

8:32 p.m., Cleveland Brown, 51, of 91Green Road, Fairfield, was arrested on a charge of operating under the influence, on Main Street.

IN WINSLOW, Thursday, Bradley Nichols Lewis Bourgeois, 19, of 6 Cote Lane, was arrested on charges of speeding and transporting liquor as a minor, on Maple Ridge Road.

On Friday at 2:50 a.m., Dennis Wade Cash, 18, was arrested on a charge of displaying a fictitious vehicle certificate, on Cushman Road.
