Teams host drive forPittsfield Food Pantry

PITTSFIELD — A food donation will mean cheaper admission when the Maine Central Institute Huskies host the Mount View Mustangs Tuesday in Wright Gymnasium. The junior varsity basketball game will begin at 5:30 p.m. and the varsity game will begin at 7 p.m. Donations of either non-perishable food or money will be collected by the student council and girls basketball team players for the Pittsfield Food Pantry.

Skowhegan River Trail very popular

SKOWHEGAN — Exercise equipment is the most recent addition to the town’s new River Trail, on Mount Pleasant Avenue and Joyce Street. It is part of DeBe Park and connects the Philbrick Trail to the bottom of the gorge.
