GARDINER — Kylee Granholm scored eight of her game-high 15 points in the third quarter and the Gardiner Area High School girls basketball team pushed its season-opening winning streak to eight games with a 60-38 victory over Winslow in the Bragoli Memorial Gym on Tuesday night.

“We played four good quarters,” Granholm said. “We hadn’t done that yet, so that was good. It was a big win.”

Kelsey Moody and Katie McAllister scored eight points for the Tigers (8-0), who used a 12-0 run in the third quarter to put the game away.

Liz Ferry and Devin Fitzgibbons — one of seven freshmen on the Winslow roster — each scored eight points to lead the Black Raiders.
