A CUT ABOVE: Harry Wolfington drops a limb Sunday from a 70-foot maple tree near his home in Hallowell. The 50-year-old tree surgeon climbed the maple to clip branches hanging over a neighbor’s house. Wolfington, who has been trimming for 30 years, said that the exercise he receives is all the compensation he wants for felling nuisance branches near the homes of his friends and employees.
