WINSLOW — Sam Dexter had two goals and two assists as the Messalonskee High School boys hockey team beat Skowhegan 5-0 Tuesday night at Sukee Arena. 

James Varney also scored twice while Chase Cunningham had the other goal for Messalonskee (4-1-0).

Travis St. Pierre, Dominic Dexter, Tyler Simpson, JT Towle and Cunningham each had an assist. Nate DelGiudice made 19 saves.

Sam Edmondson stopped 18 shots for Skowhegan (3-2-1).

Mt. View 65, Morse 40: The Mustangs took a 35-18 halftime lead and never looked back on their way to the KVAC B win in Thorndike. Bobby Porter led the way with 16 points for Mt. View (3-4) while

Chris Montminy added 15. Jalen Babin was also in double figures with 11 points.

Ted Cole led Morse (1-5) with 18 points, including four 3-pointers.

Hall-Dale 66, Madison 50: Zack Plummer scored 17 points to lead Hall-Dale to the MVC win in Madison.

Sam Shepherd added 13 points for Hall-Dale (5-2) while Austin Bechard chipped in with 11 and Brad Shepherd scored 10.

Madison (2-4) was led by Steven Lawrence with a game-high 18 points.

Brunswick 60, Erskine 39: Garrett Erb scored 13 points to lead the host Dragons to the KVAC A win.
Konnor Scarpone added 12 points for Brunswick (5-3) while Trent Anderson chipped in with 11.

Erskine (4-3) was led by Shyler Scates with eight points and Devin Duncan and Caleb McGuire with seven apiece.

Mt. Blue 63, Messalonskee 46: Nick Hilton scored a game-high 18 points to lead the Cougars to the KVAC A win in Oakland.

Cam Sennick added 16 points for Mt. Blue (5-2) while Blake Hart scored 14.

Messalonskee (0-7) was led by Elijah Steele with 12 points.

Valley 56, Forest Hills 43:
The Cavaliers outscored the Tigers, 23-12, in the fourth quarter to earn the win in Jackman.

Carrington Miller paced Valley (6-0) with 19 points and 15 rebounds. Caleb Wade added 12 points and six assists for the Cavaliers, Dylan Belanger scored 10 points, and Josh West pulled down 14 rebounds.

Evan Worster was the high scorer for Forest Hills (4-3), with 17 points.

Nokomis 59, Maranacook 51:
Ethan Pearl and Devin Chambers each scored 17 points, and the Warriors held off Maranacook to take the KVAC B win in Readfield.

Spencer Hartsgrove added nine points for Nokomis (6-1).

Kyle Boucher had a triple-double for Maranacook (3-4) with 17 points, 11 rebounds and 12 blocks.

Rangeley 62, Buckfield 61 (OT): Alex Morton’s shot at the end of regulation tied the score for Rangeley, and Michael Haley made a free throw with 1.2 seconds left to lift the Lakers to the East/West Conference win in Rangeley.

Eric White led the Lakers with 21 points and eight rebounds. Kyle Haley had 15 points for Rangeley (3-3), while Morton had 13 points and four assists.

Alan Hendrick led Buckfield (1-4) with 21 points.
