PORTLAND — The 6th annual Junior Achievement Titan Challenge will be Wednesday, Feb. 15, as part of Maine Entrepreneurship Week. All Maine high schools are invited to participate in competition, free of charge.
The challenge is an online business competition that puts high school students in leadership roles in a virtual company. Three student teams will take on roles of chief executive officer, chief financial officer and marketing research and development while competing with other teams to sustain a business.
Locations of the challenge are: University of Southern Maine in Portland, University of Southern Maine in Lewiston/Auburn, the Foster Center for Student Innovation at University of Maine at Orono and University of Maine at Presque Isle. Registration deadline is Friday, Jan. 13.
