AUGUSTA — Alex and Sharon Krechkin of Augusta are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Cortney A. Krechkin to James T. Tanner, son of Reverend Mark and Deb Tanner of Skowhegan and Gene and Gail Johnson of Steep Falls.
Cortney graduated from Cony High School in 2005. She then went on to study at the University of New England, where she will receive her Doctorate in Physical Therapy in the spring of 2012.
James is a 2004 graduate of Skowhegan Area High School and University of Southern Maine. James currently has returned to school to pursue a master’s degree in Community Planning and Development.
The couple recently took a trip to New York City where they got engaged in Central Park.
A spring 2013 wedding is planned.
