PITTSFIELD — Maine Central Institute recently announced the opening of an on-campus skating rink behind Wright Gymnasium.
The rink is free to use and open to the public. The rink is open any time, but is resurfaced during the school day. It is lit from 4 p.m. to midnight. Parking for the rink is available in the lot beside the Ruth Plummer Cook Music Building. Knit hats are required for all skaters and helmets are required for skaters using sticks and pucks.
