AUBURN — Tim Dudley scored in the final seconds of the game as the Lawrence High School boys basketball team beat Edward Little 46-45 in a Kennebec Valley Athletic Conference Class A game Saturday.

Lawrence (7-3) trailed by one when Edward Little (6-4) missed the front end of a one-and-one. The Bulldogs got the ball and ran the clock to eight seconds before running a play for Spencer Carey. Carey was double team and threw the ball to Alex Leathers. Dudley grabbed the ball in midair and made the shot to give the Bulldogs the win.

Carey finished with 17 points, while Leathers had seven points and nine rebounds for Lawrence. Dudley had seven points and six rebounds.

Quinn Leary had 18 points for Edward Little (6-4).

Waterville 78, Oak Hill 41: Max Brown scored a game-high 27 points and Josh Gomley added 11 to lead the Purple Panthers.

Gomley also added eight assists while Alan Wood scored 10 points for Waterville (5-5). Brandon Braley scored nine points for the victors, as well.

Sam Morin scored 24 points and Kelsey Lamouth added eight to pace the Raiders (0-10).

Winslow 67, Morse 53: Justin Murray had 15 points, five assists and five steals to lead the host Black Raiders to the KVAC B win.

Austin Ireland added 14 points and 10 rebounds for Winslow (6-5).

Ted Cole scored a game-high 17 points for Morse (3-7).

Madison 71, Mt. Abram 45: MJ Flanders scored 12 points to lead the Bulldogs to the Mountain Valley Conference win.

Dylan Price and Austin Kane added 10 points apiece for Madison (5-4).

Dylan Ireland scored 11 points to lead Mt. Abram (2-6).

Hyde 66, Valley 55: Jonah Alexander scored 19 points as the Phoenix beat the Cavaliers in Bingham.

Carrington Miller had 21 points and Dylan Belanger added 15 for Valley (8-1).

Tyquan Ekekiuba added 18 points for Hyde (8-0).

Girls basketball

Valley 34, Hyde 12: Sydney Vincent scored seven points to lead the Cavaliers to the Class D win in Bingham.

Teagan Laweryson, Jen Hovey and Hali McQuilkin each scored six points for Valley (3-6).

Kathryn Comeaux led Hyde (0-8) with five points.

Edward Little 56, Lawrence 24: Ashlee Arnold scored 18 points and Kory Norcross added 14 to lead the Red Eddies in an Eastern A game in Fairfield. Tianna Harriman chipped in with six points for Edward Little (9-2).

Danielle Spaulding scored a team-high 10 points and Brianna Soucy added six points to lead the Bulldogs (1-9).

Waterville 44, Oak Hill 27: Ashleigh Gagne scored 19 points and grabbed 12 rebounds to lead the host Purple Panthers in a Class B game.

Lauren Crane had six points and seven rebounds for Waterville (5-5) as well. Colleen O’Donnell also contributed with a strong all-around performance, finishing with eight points, five steals and seven rebounds.

Darby Beaulieu led Oak Hill (3-7) with 13 points.

Bangor 66, Erskine 39: Katie Brochu scored 22 points as the Rams beat the Eagles in a KVAC A game in Bangor on Friday.

Kayla Jordan added 10 points for Bangor (5-5).

Meryl Bond had 16 points for Erskine (1-9).

Hall-Dale 34, Mt. Abram 31: Kristina Buck scored 15 points to lead the Bulldogs to the MVC win.

Natasha Brown and Wendy Goldman chipped in with eight apoints each for Hall-Dale (9-2).

Mt. Abram (5-5) which lost to Hall-Dale by 32 points the last time the two teams played, was led by Annie Dexter and Miranda Smith with nine points apiece.

Winslow 52, Morse 47: Elizabeth Ferry went 4 for 6 from the foul line and took a charge in the final minutes of the game as the Black Raiders beat the Shipbuilders in a KVAC B game in Bath.

Ferry finished with 16 points for Winslow (5-6). Mariah Chenard added 13 points and Jordyn Pomerleau 12.

Katie Henrickson had 14 points for Morse (3-7).

On Friday, Ferry scored 15 points as the Raiders beat Lincoln Academy 43-29.
