WATERVILLE — Gov. Paul LePage danced to African drumming today with college and elementary school students at a breakfast honoring the late Martin Luther King Jr.
About 170 people attended the 26th annual community breakfast at Spectrum Generations Muskie Center, hosted by that organization and Waterville Rotary Club.
LePage proclaimed Jan. 16 Martin Luther King Jr. Day of Service, speaking briefly to the crowd of Rotarians, city officials, educators, children and retired people.
“Enjoy the day and remember community service really counts,” he said.
