AUGUSTA — Mia Diplock scored a game-high 19 points as Cony defeated Brewer 67-38 in Kennebec Valley Athletic Conference Class A girls basketball action Monday.

Julie Arbour added 13 points, four assists and four rebounds for Cony (11-0) while Emily Sanford chipped in with 10 points and Josie Lee grabbed 13 rebounds.

The Witches (4-7) was paced by Alexa Grindle with nine points.

Hampden 57, Erskine 30: Jordan Maxwell hit three 3-pointers and scored 17 points as the Broncos cruised to the KVAC A win in South China.

Helene Sherburne added 10 points for Hampden (6-5), which led 16-3 after one quarter and 33-9 at halftime.

Bridget Humphrey led Erskine (1-10) with 10 points.

Edward Little 68, Messalonskee 60: Ashlee Arnold and Cory Norcross combined to score 53 points and lead the Eddies to the KVAC A win in Auburn. Arnold finished with 31 points while Norcross added 22 for Edward Little (8-2).

Megan Pelletier led the Eagles (6-4) with 11 points and 11 rebounds. Mary Badeen scored 24 points, including five 3-pointers.

Skowhegan 59, Brunswick 51: Amanda Johnson scored 20 points and handed out six assists to lead the Indians to the KVAC A win in Brunswick.

Sophomore Morgan Buker added 16 poiints and 12 rebounds for Skowhegan (9-2) while Adriana Martineau scored 15 points.

For Brunswick (4-7), Lyse Henshaw scored 17 points, Liz Faulkner 16 and Julia Champagne 10.

Hall-Dale 60, Mt. Abram 35: The Bullodgs connected on 7 of 13 3-pointers en route to the MVC win in Salem. Tyler French led Hall-Dale with 13 points while Sam Shepherd added 12. Tyler Hupper led the Roadrunners with 13 points.

Hall-Dale is 8-3, Mt. Abram is 2-6.

Hampden 64, Erskine 46: The Broncos outscored the Eagles 19-2 in the third quarter to erase a five-point halftime deficit and earn the KVAC A win in Hampden.

Zach Gilpin scored a game-high 19 points for Hampden (10-1), including 10 in the third quarter. Fred Knight added 11 points and Tyler Norris had 10.

Erskine (1-10) was led by Devin Duncan with 16 points and Tyler Belanger with 15. Tom Grady chipped in with 10 points.

Medomak 72, Maranacook 36:
Isaac Greenhouse scored 19 points to lead the Panthers to the KVAC B win in Readfield. Jonathan Hendrikson-Bellouguet added 12 points for the winners while Alex Greenhouse scored 11 and Ryan Ripley 10. Kyle Boucher led the Black Bears with 11 points.
Medomak is 9-2, Maranacook is 4-6.

Brewer 62, Cony 46: The host Witches held the Rams to 14 points in the second and third quarters in posting the KVAC A win. Jeff Weeks led Brewer (5-6) with 12 points while Brendan Newcomb and Ian Burgess each scored 12. Zack Lachance led Cony (4-7) with 14 points.

Lawrence 52, Lewiston 50: Shaun Carroll and Spencer Carey scored 12 points apiece to lead the Bulldogs to the KVAC Class A win in Lewiston. Tim Dudley added 11 points for Lawrence (8-3) while Steven Patri led Lewiston (8-3) with 15 points and Corbin Hyde scored 10.
