EMBDEN — The town is accepting sealed bids for fire protection and winter road maintenance.
Fire protection bids can be mailed or dropped of at the Town Office during office hours before 2 p.m. Friday, March 2. Bids can also be brought to the selectmen meeting at 7 p.m. Monday, March 5. All bids must be sealed in an envelope and marked: Attention: Fire Protection Bid.
Sealed bids for winter road maintenance for 2012-15 are also being accepted. Bids must be received on the draft copy of the snow removal and sanding contract, which are available at the Town Office. Bids will be accepted by mail or during Town Office hours until 2 p.m. on Friday, March 2. They will be publicly opened and read aloud at the March 3 annual town meeting. All bids must be sealed in an envelope marked: Attention: Winter Roads Sealed Bid.
