SKOWHEGAN — Assistant District Attorney Neal McClean said Robert Salley, 29, of Winslow, was arrested on Jan. 10 on charges of violation of a protection order and tampering with a witness, informant, juror or victim.

However, the district attorney’s office has declined to bring the tampering charge. Salley, therefore, now faces only the one charge of violating a protective order.
