AUBURN — Edward Little cut a 14-point halftime lead to one with six minutes left to play, but Cony held on for a 65-56 Kennebec Valley Athletic Conference Class A girls basketball win Tuesday.

Mia Diplock led Cony (13-0) with 23 points and nine rebounds. Melanie Guzman added 12 points and 12 rebounds while Josie Lee and Julie Arbour each chipped in with 12 points.

Edward Little (10-3) was led by Ashley Arnold with 20 points and Crissy Lewis with 17.

Messalonskee 57, Bangor 52, OT: Kassi Michaud hit a 3-pointer with just under 10 seconds left in regulation to tie the game as the Eagles rallied from seven point down to beat the Rams in a KVAC A game in Bangor.

Michaud finished with 22 points for Messalonskee (9-4). Mary Badeen added 11 point and five steals, while Megan Pelletier had 13 points.

Denae Johnson had 16 points for Bangor (5-8).

Gardiner 55, Oak Hill 42: Junior Kelly Macomber had 11 points and 14 rebounds to lead the Tigers to the KVAC B win in Wales.

Jenna Moore added 11 points for Gardiner (11-2) while Kelsey Moody had 10.

Oak Hill (4-9) was led by Darby Beaulieu with 14 points and Sadie Goulet with nine.

Erskine 57, Lewiston 34: Meryl Bond scored 17 points to go with five assists, six rebounds and five steals to lead the Eagles to the KVAC A win in South China. Bridget Humphrey added 14 points for the Eagles (2-12) while teammate Amy Phillips scored nine points and grabbed 11 rebounds. Bri Wilson led Lewiston (1-11) with 11 points.

Hall-Dale 63, Winthrop 15: Carylanne Wolfington had 29 points, six rebounds, eight steals and six assists to lead the Bulldogs to the Mountain Valley Conference win in Farmingdale.

Catie Eccleston added eight points and 10 rebounds for Hall-Dale (11-3).

Shauna Carlson scored seven points for Winthrop (0-12).

Kents Hill 36, Islesboro 17: Samantha Larrabee had 15 points as the Huskies won in Kents Hill.

Caroline Tortorella added eight points and seven steals while Heather Larrabee had five points and 12 rebounds for Kents Hill (3-5).

Autumn Johnson had nine points for Islesboro (4-11).

St. Dominic 32, Monmouth 29: McKenzie Roy made two key baskets in the final two minutes and her teammates sealed the game from the free throw line as the Saints rallied to the MVC win. Allison Conley led St. Dom’s (4-8) with 11 points while Kylee Kemp and Colby Wilson each scored eight for Monmouth (6-8).

Gardiner 81, Oak Hill 25: Aaron Toman scored 14 points to lead a balanced attack for the host Tigers in a KVAC B win.

Jake Palmer added 11 points and five assists for Gardiner (12-1) while Matt Hall had 10 points and six rebounds. Justin Lovely chipped in with five points, seven assists and five steals.

Oak Hill (0-12) was led by Sam Morin with 19 points.

Bangor 70, Messalonskee 48: Xavier Lewis had 12 points as the Rams won the KVAC A game in Oakland.

Ellis Throckmorton added nine points, while both Alex Campbell and Christian Corneil had eight for Bangor (10-3).

Gage Landry had eight points for Messalonskee (1-12).

Old Orchard Beach 61, Richmond 18: Anthony Langelhaw had 17 points as the Seagulls beat the Bobcats in Richmond.

Zack Seamans added 11 points for OOB (6-6).

Richmond falls to 4-9.
