FREEPORT — Evan Worster had 31 points and 22 rebounds as the Forest Hills boys basketball team cruised to a 77-30 win over Pine Tree Academy on Wednesday evening.

Derick Ouellette added 13 points and 19 rebounds for Forest Hills (10-3). Matt Turner had 12 points and 12 steals, while Brandon Ouellette added 12 points.

Zach Wilday had 15 points for Pine Tree (2-9).

Spruce Mountain 63, Madison 41: Jake Bessey had 17 points, six assists and six steals as the Phoenix beat the Bulldogs in a Mountain Valley Conference game in Jay.

James Barker added nine points and 12 rebounds for Spruce Mountain (13-1).

Austin Kane had 14 points for Madison (6-7).

Girls basketball

Forest Hills 53, Pine Tree 48: Kori Coro scored 14 of her team-high 19 points in the fourth quarter to lead the Tigers to a comeback win.

Keely Taylor added 16 points for Forest Hills (10-3), while teammate Anna Carrier added nine points and 12 rebounds.

Gentile Sandy led all scorers with 23 points while teammate Hannah Koestar scored 10 for Pine Tree (4-8).

Girls hockey

Lewiston 3, Winslow 1: The Blue Devils scored two goals in the first period on their way to a win over the Black Raiders in Winslow.

Mikayla Brown scored two first-period goals for Lewiston (7-7-1). Sam Cote added a third-period goal and Paige Fontaine had six saves.

Britany Whittaker scored from Brennah O’Connell for Winslow (3-11-1). Jessica Cain had 35 saves.

Boys hockey

Brewer 16, Winslow 2: Tyler McCormick and Kyle Alexander each had hat tricks to lead the Witches in an Eastern B game at Sukee Arena.

Jacob Chapman, Spencer Valley and Tyler White each added a pair of goals for Brewer (11-1-0).

Dayton Bourassa and Jacob Cain scored for Winslow (0-10-1).
