KENTS HILL — Austin Davis scored two goals as the Cony High School boys hockey team beat Gorham 3-1 in a Class A hockey game Thursday night at Kents Hill.

Tyler Leet added a goal, while Dakota Bowie had two assists for Cony (7-3-0). Matt Swan earned the win with 20 saves.

Chris Hardy scored an unassisted goal for Gorham (4-5-0).

Boys basketball

Dirigo 72, Hall-Dale 41: Josh Turbide scored 20 points and Ben Holmes added a double-double to lead the Cougars in Dixfield.

Holmes had 11 rebounds and 10 points for Dirigo (14-0) while Cody St. Germain chipped in with 12.

Zac Plummer scored 10 points and Austin Bechard added eight to pace Hall-Dale (10-4).

Wiscasset 53, Monmouth 23: Corey Hodgdon had 10 points as Wiscasset won in Monmouth.

Brandon Goff had eight points for the Mustangs (2-13).

Morse 60, Oak Hill 35: Matt Munster had 17 points and Ted Cole added 15 as the Shipbuilders (4-9) defeated the Raiders in Wales.

Parker Asselin scored 15 points for Oak Hill (0-14).

Women’s basketball

UM-Augusta 59, SMCC 56: Jenn Lola had 19 points and 12 rebounds as the Moose won in South Portland.

Katie Poirier added 18 points, while Ashley Peaslee had 14 for UMA (11-8).

Kaitlyn Benson scored 18 points for SMCC (10-6).
