NEWCASTLE — Katie McAllister and Jenna Moore both had 11 points as Gardiner defeated Lincoln 59-26 in a Kennebec Valley Athletic Conference Class B girls basketball game Saturday.

Moore also had five assists for Gardiner, which improves to 13-2.

Jen Genthner had eight points for Lincoln (0-14).

Lisbon 55, Winthrop 38: Jessica Campbell had 21 points and 15 rebounds to lead the host Greyhounds (6-7) to the Mountain Valley Conference win.

Winthrop (0-14) was led by Jess Scott with 17 points.

Messalonskee 38, Lawrence 32: Cassi Michaud had 11 points and six rebounds to spark the Eagles to the KVAC A win in Oakland.

Megan Pelletier added six points and 13 rebounds for Messalonskee (10-4) while Mikayla Turner chipped in with seven points and seven rebounds.

Lawrence (2-12) was led by Danielle Spaulding with 11 points.

Monmouth 55, Wiscasset 28: Kylie Kemp scored 14 of her 22 points in the second half as the Mustangs pulled away to earn an MVC win in Wiscasset.

Kemp also grabbed eight rebounds for Monmouth (7-8). Kristine Kahl chipped in 11 points and 12 rebounds, while Molly Menice had four points and 10 rebounds.

Heidi Pinkham had nine points for Wiscasset (2-13).

Hall-Dale 66, Dirigo 33: Carylanne Wolfington had 24 points and 11 rebounds to lead the Bulldogs to the MVC win. Allison Crockett added 10 points for Hall-Dale (12-3) while Natasha Brown and Wendy Goldman each had eight.

Dirigo (8-7) was led by Amber Wilson with eight points.

Boys basketball

Gardiner 51, Lincoln 48: Aaron Toman had 16 points and six rebounds to help the host Tigers earn the KVAC B win.

Matt Hall added 10 points, nine rebounds and three assists for Gardiner (13-2) while Alonzo Connor chipped in with 10 points, six rebounds and four steals.

Lincoln (6-8) was led by Jalen Lincoln with a game-high 21 points.

Leavitt 54, Maranacook 46: Jordan Hersom scored 17 points to lead the Hornets to the KVAC B win in Turner. Tim Dow added 15 points for Leavitt (11-3).

Seth Miller and Taylor Wilbur each scored nine points for Maranacook (6-8).

Medomak Valley 79, Oak Hill 38: Alex Greenrose had 16 points as the Panthers won a KVAC B game in Wales.

John Murray chipped in 13 points, while Shane Osier and Isaac Greenrose each added 12 points for Medomak Valley (13-2).

Parker Asselin had 17 points, while Derek Gamage had 10 points and 15 rebounds for Oak Hill (0-15).
