Smiles Change Lives is now serving low-income children in the Augusta and Waterville area through Dr. Michal Kleinlerer of MK Orthodontics.
Kleinlerer will donate her time to provide care to children who cannot afford treatment and don’t qualify for other assistance. Each patient’s family will pay a $500 program fee in return for full orthodontic treatment.
Program applicants must be 10-18 years old; have a household taxable income at or below 200% of the Federal Poverty Level; and must have crooked teeth and/or misaligned jaws, and good oral hygiene.
For more information, call (888) 900-3554 or visit www.smileschangelives.org. Educators, nurses, counselors and oral health professionals are encouraged to nominate or refer candidates to this program.
