DRESDEN — A Pittston woman was injured Monday when her car skidded off Blinn Hill Road.
Casey Harrison, 30, suffered minor injuries in the crash, according to a Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office spokeswoman. Police didn’t know whether Harrison was taken to the hospital.
The crash happened about 9 a.m. as Harrison was driving a 2002 Subaru east on Blinn Hill Road. The car slid on ice and went off the road, hitting an embankment, the spokeswoman said.
Augusta woman injuredin Cony Street crash
AUGUSTA — A city woman was injured Monday when her sport utility vehicle skidded into a tree off Cony Street.
Bridgett Charest, 29, was taken by an ambulance to Central Maine Medical Center in Lewiston after she complained of head pain, said Augusta Police Lt. Christopher Massey.
The crash happened about 2:30 p.m. as Charest was driving a 2003 Chevy Blazer east toward Pierce Drive. The blazer crested a hill and skidded out of control on black ice, Massey said. The car hit a tree and stopped facing the opposite direction from which it had been traveling.
A portion of Cony Street was briefly closed Monday afternoon.
Massey said no charges were filed.
