AUGUSTA — Roderick Small, a student at the University of Maine at Augusta, recently won a competition to design a logo for the Augusta Downtown Alliance.

Art faculty at the university partnered with the Alliance to present the logo design contest to students.

Small is an art major. He received a cash prize of $200.
