SUNDAY

At 2:31 a.m., police received a report of an assault on Sewall Street. Police arrested Brenda Hayes, 52, of Augusta and charged her with violating her condition of release and sale and use of drug paraphernalia.

9:15 a.m., a theft was reported at Walmart on Civic Center Drive.
