BRUNSWICK – The Waterville track and field teams cruised to Kennebec Valley Athletic Conference Class B championships on Saturday at Bowdoin College.

The girls scored 192 points, more than 100 over their closest pursuer Winslow, which was second with 91.

Georgia Bolduc (200-meters, pole vault), Olivia Thurston (55 hurdles, 400) and Bethanie Brown (800, mile) each won two events to lead the Waterville girls.

Devin Burgess won the pole vault and long jump to anchor the boys.

“We have a lot of veteran kids but we left a few points unaccounted for out there,” Waterville coach Ian Wilson said “If we want to win state championships, we’ll have to be better.”

The Brunswick girls and Edward Little boys claimed KVAC A titles.
