The boys high school playoff fields are set, and there are a few intriguing matchups in the early going.

In Eastern A, Cony (14-4-0), which won 10 of its final 11 games, snapped a two-season playoff drought and earned the fourth seed.

The Rams will play Tuesday at 4 p.m. against No. 5 Maranacook/Hall-Dale/Winthrop (9-9-0), which has lost four of its last five games.

The game will be played at Kents Hill, which was home to both teams this season.

MHW swept the season series from Cony, winning 4-3 and 4-2.

“It should be a great game,” MHW coach Andy Dube said. “Both teams are very similar.”
