WATERVILLE — One hundred and twenty-six Mid-Maine Technical Center students recently competed in the Local Skills Championships. Students from Waterville Senior High School, Lawrence High School, Winslow High School and Messalonskee High School attend the technical center.

The competition included 24 individual competitions in technical skills and 59 business and industry representatives from the Waterville area served as judges.

The gold medalist in each competition has qualified to represent Mid-Maine Technical Center at the State Skills USA Championships in Bangor on March 15 and 16.
