STARKS — Incumbent Cynthia Kimball is being challenged by Sterling Doiron and Shawn Sours for a three-year term as selectman and by Cathleen Horner for a three-year term as assessor in elections.
At the annual meeting Saturday, one major article would appropriate $24,865 to fund the town’s share of the Madison-based School Administration District 59 withdrawal agreement approved in January.
In another article, the fire department is seeking $6,712 more than the Budget Committee and Selectmen recommended.
Polls are open noon to 8 p.m. today at the Starks Community Center. The Saturday meeting begins at 9 a.m.
