Peter Hurley and Ben Hackett also scored for the Rangers (15-4-2), who won their second Class B title in three seasons.
“I thought our depth played a role in the outcome of the game today,” Greely coach Barry Mothes said. “We got all 18 guys in the game today. Certainly, in the third period we had a little more jump; it was a big difference.”
Sam Dexter and Travis St. Pierre scored for Messalonskee (18-4-0), which was out-shot 35-16.
Greely scored three goals in a 62-second span of the first period to put the game away.
“When you give up three goals, its difficult to come back from,” Messalonskee coach Mike Latendresse said. “Greely is a fantastic team. I thought they were the better team.”
