I was one of the many in the audience at the opening performance of “Three Days of Rain” on March 9 at the ACAT Theater in Waterville.

I wish to commend the three actors — Tim Croce, Heidi Holst and Evan Sposato — and director Joe Klapatch for their incredible dramatic acting and production of a very difficult and complex and challenging play in this wonderful, up-close-and-personal, small-theater venue. The actors, who each played their parents in the second act, had a tremendous number of lines to memorize.

In these times of unregulated greed and corruption and unethical behavior both in the public and private sectors, it is great to be able to take a break and be drawn into a complex story with superb actors and directing. We are fortunate to have such great local talent and the opportunity to support the arts.
