BELGRADE — Missoula Children’s Theatre residency week was held at Belgrade Central School. The well-known non-profit educational organization, which has been part of the school’s March curriculum for many years, visited students.

Throughout the week the fifth-grade classes of Cara Coro, Sarah Reynolds and Heather Holinger worked collaboratively in science, where they worked in teams to grow their own secret gardens and learned about variables. And in reading, they read and discussed “The Secret Garden.”

Productions of “The Secret Garden” will be at 1 p.m. and 6 p.m. today at the Performing Arts Center at Messalonskee High School in Oakland. Tickets, available at the door, cost $6 for adults and $3 for children.

Classrooms will have displays of designs, writings, experiments and more that will be on view during the schools production.
