I recently attended a fifth-grade fund raiser at Manchester Elementary School called “Mind Games, Magic and Mental-ism” by Kent Axell Jr.
Wow! What a show. The fifth-graders sold us our tickets, ushered us to our seats, sold concessions and helped with the show. They acted so grown up and so professional.
The show was hilarious from start to finish. I was accompanied by my four grandchildren, ages 2 to 9, a feat in itself but not a problem because between the magic, the mind games and the comedy, they were glued to their seats from start to finish, as was I.
Kudos to the fifth graders at Manchester and to Kent Axell Jr.. The evening was magical!
