WINSLOW — Fort Halifax Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution will hold its monthly meeting and annual Good Citizen Awards ceremony at 1 p.m. Saturday, April 14, at the Winslow Congregational Church. Barbara Healy, Regent, will conduct the ritual preceding the awards.
Good Citizen winners are Alishi Foly of Montville, daughter of Kathy and Neil Foly and Christine Parrilli of Winslow, daughter of Peggy and Thomas Parrilli. The Jenny Paine Howard History medal winner is Mathew Rumsey, son of Charles and Cynthia Rumsey, of Winslow.
All will be presented with DAR pins and certificates. All parents, relatives and friends are welcome to attend. Charlie Hartman will provide musical entertainment and refreshments will be served with a DAR birthday cake.
The next meeting is set for May 12 at the Winslow Congregational Church.
