UNION — The Knox-Lincoln Soil & Water Conservation District will hold a spring plant sale from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Saturday, May 5, and from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday, May 6, at the Union Fairgrounds.
Saturday’s events will feature a series of 10-minute talks on topics ranging from planting for pollinators to how to interpret soil tests. There will be demonstrations on planting and pruning newly purchased trees, shrubs and berries and more.
The annual pre-order trout sale pickup will be at noon Sunday. All plants are available for pre-order and cash and carry sales on a first-come, first-served basis. Brook and rainbow trout for stocking constructed ponds are available only on a pre-order basis. Order forms are available at knox-lincoln.org.
