AUGUSTA — A man who stole 69 copper ground wires from 69 utility poles in Augusta last July has been banned from being on property owned by Central Maine Power Company as a condition of his probation.

Obama warns Iran and Israel

WASHINGTON — President Barack Obama delivered his most explicit threat yet that the United States will attack Iran if that’s what it takes to prevent it from developing a nuclear bomb.
