Skowhegan thespians honored during drama festival
SKOWHEGAN — Two members of the Skowhegan Area High School drama club were named to the all-festival cast in the Maine Drama Festival Class A finals in Falmouth over the weekend.

WATERVILLE — The Waterville Department of Public Works recently announced that residents may dispose of yard waste from Monday, April 2, through Friday, June 15. Yard waste such as garden trimmings, small branches, leaves and grass clippings can be dropped off at the Public Works Department, 6 Wentworth Court.
Man injured in College Avenue crash to recover
WATERVILLE — A man who was seriously injured during a March 18 six-car crash on College Avenue is expected to be discharged from the hospital today.
MORNING SENTINEL WRESTLER OF THE YEAR: Craig has immediate impact for Mt. Blue
Tyler Craig had the best freshman season of any Mt. Blue High School wrestler. He won titles at the Tiger Invitational, the Noble Invitational and the Nokomis Tournament in the regular season, then won the Kennebec Valley Athletic Conference and Eastern A regional titles at 106 pounds. He capped his season by becoming the first Mt. Blue wrestler to win a state title as a freshman at the Class A state championships.
