ROME — Terry Hughes Jr. and Kim Hughes of Rome have announced the engagement of their daughter, Victoria Hughes to John Cooper III, son of John Cooper Jr. and Karen Cooper of Belgrade.
Victoria is a 2008 graduate of Messalonskee High School, and is a senior studying Human Biology at the University of Southern Maine. She will be attending Regis College in the fall to become a Nurse Practitioner. She is employed at Connections for Kids in Portland.
John is a 2008 graduate of Messalonskee High School and is also a senior at the University of Southern Maine, majoring in History and Philosophy. He is employed at Instructional Technology and Media Services at the University of Southern Maine.
A July 14, 2012, wedding is planned.
