FAIRFIELD — The Dance Connection Dance Team of Fairfield recently competed at the Concord, N.H., regionals of the Starquest Talent Competition.
There were six entries:
Jazz trio “Higher” received a High Gold Award and the third-highest score in their division. It also received a special award for “Explosive Energy.”
Tap trio “Tooti Fruiti” received a High Gold Award and the fourth-highest score in its division.
The jazz routine “You Make Me Feel” and tap routine “We Found Love” each received Gold Awards.
The jazz routine “Only Imagine” received a High Gold Award and the second-highest score in the dancers’ division.
The tap routine “Throw Your Hands Up” received a High Gold Award and the fourth-highest score in its division.
