An Arundel man has won $1 million dollars with an instant ticket he bought at a Biddeford gas station.

Emile Paul Raymond is the third million dollar winner so far in the new Maine Millionaire instant ticket game, according to the Maine State Lottery.

The ticket was sold earlier this week at Karen’s Biddeford Sunoco, which will receive $10,000 for selling the winning ticket.

“This is so exciting – for Paul and for us,” said Karen Green, owner of Biddeford Sunoco, according to the release. “Paul is a regular customer, he comes in every day, we all know him, and we’re all very happy for him.”

Tickets in the Maine Millionaire game, which started in October, cost $20 each. In addition to the $1 million prizes, the instant tickets offer smaller prizes also.
