PITTSFIELD — The Pittsfield Public Library recently added more than three dozen new DVDs to the collection because of a generous donation from Jill McGowan, Inc., a Portland fashion design company owned by Jill McGowan, a Pittsfield native.
McGowan supported her hometown library in recent years by donating the proceeds from eight designer shirt sales to the library’s capital building campaign. This year she suggested adding to the extremely popular video collection.
