WATERVILLE — The following free events are scheduled at Waterville Public Library.

* Essentials of College Planning is set for 1-4 p.m. Thursday, April 19, in the Colby Program Room.

Maine Educational Opportunity Center will present the free, interactive workshop to discuss: the basic steps for college enrollment and college options in our region entrance requirements, readiness and transitional issues of adult students admissions procedures and the financial aid application.

The presenter will be Joanne Richards, MEOC Advisor.

* Skills Mapping and Marketing will take place from 10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday, April 18, in the Colby Program Room.

Patrick Therrien, technology and education training specialist with the Maine State Library, will present an informative and high-energy tour of contemporary tools and techniques for mapping and marketing skills in job searching.

Pre-registration is required. Stop at the information services desk at the Library or call 680-2611.

* Mini-Job Fair is set for 10:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Wednesday, April 25. Six hiring employers will be available.
