NEW YORK — Gov. Paul LePage is a featured panelist at the “Tax Policies for 4% Growth” Conference hosted by the George W. Bush Presidential Center at the New York Historical Society in New York City today.
The panel will focus on how tax policies can affect growth, prosperity and the future of states. Other panelists include Tennessee Gov. Bill Haslam, Gov. Mary Fallin of Oklahoma and Robert Steel, deputy mayor for economic development in New York City.
Other speakers at the conference include former President George W. Bush, New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie, Kansas Gov. Sam Brownback, U.S. Rep. Paul Ryan of Wisconsin and Canadian Finance Minister James Flaherty.
The project was launched last year to achieve gross domestic product growth of four percent.
