Seven Maine restaurants, including four in Portland, are on a new list of the top 25 restaurants in New England.

The list was compiled by “Opinionated About Dining,” a New York-based blog that surveyed more than 3,000 people, including many of the top food bloggers in the country.

Miyake and Hugo’s, both in Portland, are Nos. 3 and 4 on the list, following the Boston restaurants Uni and O Ya, which came in first and second.

Fore Street in Portland is eighth on the list. Primo and Suzuki’s Sushi Bar, both in Rockland, are Nos. 9 and 10, and Bresca in Portland is No. 14.

The Trenton Bridge Lobster Pound in Trenton, just outside of Bar Harbor, came in at No. 19.

The foodies surveyed by Opinionated About Dining contributed more than 70,000 restaurant reviews that helped determine the list.

Opinionated About Dining was started by Steve Plotnicki, a New Yorker who worked in the music and television industries for more than two decades before turning his attention to food and dining.
