BIDDEFORD — A pedestrian has been struck and killed by a train in Biddeford.
Amtrak spokesman Cliff Cole said the person was trespassing on the tracks when the crash happened around 3:30 p.m. on Monday.
He said none of the 55 passengers or crew on the Amtrak Downeaster were injured.
The train was carrying passengers from Portland to Boston.
Cole said the train was delayed for about two hours while the crash was investigated.
