I guess 2012 will be the end of the world. And, you know, the way things are, maybe it is time.

When the media can show over and over again the bloody bodies of babies, the decapitated, disfigured, maimed images of human beings. When mass graves are a hot topic. People shot in the head lying in the streets.

This is all very disturbing graphic news, but is acceptable as news. This is making our society callous to death. So I can fully understand the outrage.

A nude person alive and happy, however, is shunned by society as a sexual deviant. Somehow, a live naked person has become worse than a naked bloody dead person.

I would appreciate an explanation for this insanity. I try to rationalize it by saying a good murder is more interesting than a naked body. Then I realize pornography is a multi-billion dollar business in this country. The poor cannot afford much of this business. So to hide the fact the affluent are buying sex, we sell mayhem.

It’s just my opinion, but I would much rather go to a nude beach than see dead children in the back of a truck.
