LEWISTON — Crystal Ryder, 25, of Gardiner, has been named this year’s Maine Games National Anthem Vocalist.

Ryder, a seven-year member of the Maine Army National Guard, performed her rendition of the “Star Spangled Banner” during auditions at the Kora Shrine Temple in Lewiston.

Ryder will represent the Maine Games at Hadlock Field prior to a Portland Seadogs game and will perform at this year’s Maine Shrine Lobster Bowl Classic in Biddeford this July. She will also record several patriotic songs in studio as a guest of Blue Wave Creative, part of the Portland Radio Group in South Portland.
