FARMINGTON — Mark Davis scored with 2 minutes, 52 seconds left in overtime to lead Thomas College over the University of Maine at Farmington 10-9 in a North Altlantic Conference men’s lacrosse action Wednesday at Prescott Field.

Davis, a Mt. Blue graduate, finished with five goals for Thomas (3-9, 3-3) while Gunnar Shelton and Derek Racine added two goals apiece and Sean Machin had one. Jesse Morkeski made 12 saves.

Nathan Chase scored four goals for the Beavers (2-9, 1-6) while Matt Roy (two goals) and Jon-Michael Roy (1 goal) also scored. Ethan Fletcher and Madison graduate Jake Linkletter had one goal each. Mt. Blue graduate Ben Altmaier stopped 13 shots.

Women’s lacrosse

Thomas 15, Husson 8: Ceara DiBiase had five goals and an assist as the Terriers earned the NAC win in Waterville.

Jillian Lambert and Brittany Premo each added three goals, while Jasmine Ryan had two for Thomas (4-6, 1-3 ).

Kim Gambon had two goals and two assists for Husson (3-10, 1-5).

Colby 10, Bowdoin 9: Kate Pistel scored four goals and teammate Lindsey McKenna added three goals and an assist as the Mules beat the Polar Bears in a New England Small College athletic Conference game in Waterville.

Colby won its 15th straight game at home and improves to 11-1 overall, 7-1 in the conference this season. Colby also clinched a home game in the NESCAC quarterfinals.

Claire Donegan added two goals and four draw controls for Colby.

Carolyn Gorajek and Elizabeth Clegg had three goals and an assist each for Bowdoin.

Colby 19, UM-Farmington 3: Colin Cummings had three hits, including a home run, drove in four runs and scored four runs as the Mules cruised to a win over the Beavers in Waterville.

Cony High School graduate Luke Duncklee added three hits, scored three runs and drove in a run for Colby (12-12). Ray Zeek added a double and two RBIs.

Colin Mello and Ethan Jean each had a single and an RBI for UMF (6-22).

Maine 10, Bates 3: Alex Calbick hit a three-run home run and the BlacK Bears beat the Bobcats in Orono.

Calbick finished with four RBIs for Maine, which pushed its winning streak to 14 games and improves to 21-15.

Bates falls to 15-13.

Softball

Bates 8-14, UM-Farmington 3-6: The Bobcats scored six runs in the third inning of Game 1 and seven runs the sixth inning of Game 2 on their way to a doubleheader sweep of the Beavers in Farmington.

In Game 1, Lauren Dobish had two hits and three RBIs for Bates (14-6). AnnaMarie Martino added two hits and Alayna Garbarino had two RBIs. For UMF (10-16), Amy Jones had two hits.

In the second game, Jones had two hits and two RBIs, while Shannon Mitchell tripled and Kaitlyn Bartlett homered for UMF. Martino had two his and three RBIs for Bates.
