GARDINER — The Gardiner Area High School boys lacrosse team used a balanced scoring attack to beat Camden Hills 12-3 in an Eastern B game Saturday at Hoch Field.
Austin Moore, Justin Lovely, Keegan Smith, Josh Caldwell, Seth Wing and Jeff McAuslin each scored two goals to lead the Tigers (2-0). Dalton Sargent also scored for Gardiner, which split the goaltending duties between Cody Hickey (8 saves) and JD Crocker (3).
Max Mercier scored three goals for Camden Hills (1-2).
Maranacook/Winthrop 8, Oak Hill 3: Jesse Evans and Toby Smith scored two goals to lead Maranacook/Winthrop in Readfield.
Smith also added three assists. Zach Glazer, Kyle Evans, Gabe Giguere, AJ Stevens and Dan Condon also scored for the Hawks (2-1).
Caleb Provost, Trever Samson, Zach Leeman, Brian Daniels scored for Oak Hill (1-1).
Maranacook/Winthrop goalie Zach Bessette had 15 saves while Marty Martin had 13 for Oak Hill.
Cony 6, Oxford Hills 3: Brendan Surette scored two goals and Matt Swan had nine saves to lead the Rams in an Eastern A game in South Paris.
Jon Saban, Ryan Sounier, Austin Davis and Derek Elvin also scored for Cony (1-1). Sam Hopkins had two assists.
Austin Chute scored two goals while Tim Hutchinson had 19 saves for Oxford Hills (0-3).
Messalonskee 8, Lewiston 4: Nate DelGiudice, Luke Vigue and Ryan Erskine all had two goals as the Eagles beat the Blue Devils in a Kennebec Valley Athletic Conference Class A game in Lewiston.
Dom Dexter and Kyle Gleason each added a goal, while DelGiudice had two assists for Messalonskee (1-2). Gleason and Ben Weeks each added an assist and Jake Smith stopped 11 shots to earn the win.
The loss is the first of the season for Lewiston (2-1).
Prep school boys lacrosse
Hebron 15, Kents HIll 6: Sam Cloutier scored seven goals and had an assist as the Lumberjacks beat the Huskies.
Jake Ades had a goal and two assists for Kents Hills (5-2). Ben Spencer, Chris McKee and Will Hoffman each added a goal, while Nick Fortin had two assists.
Prep school girls lacrosse
Hebron 11, Kents Hill 6: Chelsea Boucher scored six goals, including five in the second half, to lift the Lumberjacks. Hannah Hearn chipped in with a pair of goals for Hebron as well.
Ashley Doyle scored four goals to lead Kents Hill while Danielle Bourgeois added a pair.
