WATERVILLE — The Waterville Public Library Business & Career Center will host the following free events:

* Make a savings plan, 6-7:30 p.m. Tuesday. April is Financial Literacy Awareness Month. Create a plan to save money each month. Workshop facilitated by Jean Dempster. To reserve a spot, call 680-2603 or email reference@watervillelibrary.org. If leaving or sending a message, provide session title, session date, full name, phone number and email address.

* Online job search lab, 10 a.m.-noon, Tuesdays each week, Colby Program Room, lower level.

An expert will be available to assist with using a computer for job search and online application tools. Drop-in. Instructor: Bettina Cota.

* Job seeking assistance, weekly by appointment, Lunder Conference Room, first floor. Employment Support Specialist Dana Hamilton of the Kennebec Valley Community Action program will provide assistance with job search activities. This service is available by appointment. Sign up for a time slot by stopping by the information services desk in the library or call 680-2603.

* Job seeking assistance for veterans, 2-5 p.m., Tuesdays each week, by appointment Business & Career Center, first floor. Local veterans’ employment representative will be available to help veterans of the U.S. military with job search activities, resume writing and interviewing skills. Sign up to meet with Doug Hudson at the library by stopping by the information services desk on the first floor or call 680-2603.
